Anytime an engine is used for higher RPM than stock or higher boost levels, there is a tremendous amount of stress on the pushrods, add an aftermarket cam with higher lift and some heavy duty valve springs and they are simply not sufficient. Install these heavy duty pushrods from Merchant Automotive that are made to the highest specifications. Precision ground from Chrome Moly tubing and the ball and socket ends mimic the factory parts perfectly.
